Abstract:

This article aims to emphasize the dual character of China's economic, political and diplomatic context. It will highlight the phase of changes that the country is going through and that brings us to one of the best known Chinese philosophies, as well as Confucianism, that's to say, Taoism. This philosophy defends the renewal of all things in cyclical periods that, in fact, have been a permanent aspect of the Middle Kingdom history. Thus, the article wants to lead people to reflect about changes that make part of the cycle that China is living nowadays, now that the country is close to the 12th Five-Year Plan. It aims to show the ambivalence of the postures adopted by the Government, but at the same time, its exemplary way of dealing wth this factor and leading Chinese people to be constantly looking for better for themselves and for their country.

Keywords: Taoism, international diplomacy, investment.
