Opening of new position in the Dept. of History - FSS - University of Macau
Full / Associate / Assistant Professor of History of East-West Interactions
Rank of appointment is open, depending on qualifications. Applicants should specialize in the history of East-West exchanges and cultural interactions in the following contexts: the history of material and/or cultural exchanges between the East and the West, focusing on the flow of art, artefacts, goods, beliefs, knowledge, etc., during the Age of Sail, mainly via Macao. The successful candidate will be required to teach General Education courses in Global History. Preference may be given to candidates who can offer courses on Macao’s cultural interactions with the West and neighbouring states and regions of China.
